Introduction
The International Women’s Day, celebrated annually on March 8, is a day set aside to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It is also a day to raise awareness about the ongoing struggles women face in achieving gender equality. In line with this year’s theme, “Digit All: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality,” One Tribe Initiative marked the day by organizing a two-day intensive digital training for businesswomen in Kaduna in partnership with Low Income Financial Transformation (L-IFT), Jennifer Etuh Foundation (JEF) CIDEC, Thinkers Children Foundation and Legal Awareness for Nigerian Women.
At One Tribe Initiative, we are committed to empowering young people and women in Nigeria by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to achieve their full potential. We also recognize that gender equality is a fundamental human right and that women’s empowerment is essential to the overall development of any society.
